Privacy Policy
Last updated · 16 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DopeLabs ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit dopelabs.in (the "Site") or get in touch with us. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Site and reply to you, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
DopeLabs is an independent engineering studio and the party responsible for the personal data described here (the data controller). For any privacy question or request, contact us at pushkar@dopelabs.in.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (optional), the area you select, and the message you write. You decide what to put in your message, so please do not include sensitive personal information you would rather not share.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting and security providers process limited technical data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and timestamps, in their server and edge logs, in order to deliver and protect the Site.
Anti-spam processing
When you submit the contact form, we briefly process your IP address to rate-limit submissions and prevent abuse. We store only a salted, one-way hash of your IP address (never the raw address), and only for a short window.
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics profiling, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set marketing or analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be set by our content-delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) to keep the Site secure and working. The private admin area, which visitors do not use, stores a login token in the local storage of the browser.
How we use your information
- To respond to and evaluate your inquiry.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To keep business and tax records where we go on to work together.
- To comply with applicable law.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent; our legitimate interests in running and protecting the Site and responding to inquiries; taking steps at your request before entering a contract; and compliance with legal obligations. Where the law requires consent, we rely on it and you may withdraw consent at any time.
Service providers we use
We rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contract, only as needed to run the Site:
- Supabase: database and authentication; stores contact-form submissions. See the Supabase privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and content delivery. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
We disclose data only as needed to run the Site, comply with law, or protect our rights. We never sell personal data.
International data transfers
Our providers may store and process data in countries outside your own, including outside India and the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the data-processing terms and standard contractual clauses of those providers.
How long we keep data
We keep contact-form submissions only for as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business records, after which we delete or anonymize them. Anti-spam IP hashes are deleted after the rate-limit window. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see Your rights).
How we protect your data
Access to submissions is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by database row-level security and authentication, and data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU or UK GDPR, or the Digital Personal Data Protection Act of India), you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at pushkar@dopelabs.in and we will respond within the time the law requires.
If you are in India, you may raise a grievance about how we handle your personal data using the same contact, and we will address it as required by the DPDP Act. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to, or load content from, third-party services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and significant changes will be reflected here.
